Paul studied at the National College of Art & Design Dublin, and graduated in the early nineteen eighties. His pottery has modern, fluid lines and, he says, ‘walking the many beaches of Wexford and watching the changing coastline, has a continuing influence on my work, I feel lucky spending my days in my workshop or artist’s studio in Barntown, overlooking mountains and farmlands to the north, and the sea to the south’. His environment permeates his work as an artist and potter.
Paul has painted in acrylic and oil throughout his life and has been a 1st Prize Winner in Europe’s largest plein air painting festival ‘Art in The Open’. He was also the overall winner of Paint Annapolis USA.

He has now produced a range of Limited Edition Prints with an extensive and diverse range of subject matter. His love of colour is evident and he is constantly challenging himself to create exciting new work whilst maintaining his own style and technique.
